#002 - Picking Up the Ball Again

It’s been a while since the first Cybernetks Log.

When I started this experiment, I had high hopes of publishing regular updates and documenting the journey as it happened. Then life stepped in.

Over the last couple of months, a lot of my attention has been focused elsewhere. My son has been dealing with some health issues, and my dad recently suffered a stroke. Neither situation is fully resolved yet, and both have taken up more mental space than I expected.

As a result, Cybernetks slowly drifted into the background.

But I’m not done.

One thing I realized while recording this log is that I want these updates to feel more natural. The first episode was heavily scripted. This one wasn’t. Instead of trying to sound polished, I’d rather sound honest.

These logs are becoming less about creating content and more about documenting the journey as it actually happens. Some updates might be ten minutes long. Some might be three. Some months might be productive. Others might be messy.

That’s probably a more accurate reflection of building anything meaningful anyway.

For now, the goal is simple: Pick up the ball again.

The next log is already recorded and covers the first Cybernetks release. It’s a small step, but it’s movement. And right now, movement matters more than momentum.
