Operator: Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 1, 2026

Operator is a productivity app published by Cybernetks. This policy explains how information is handled when you use Operator or contact us for support.

At a glance

  • Your Operator workspace is stored on your device and can sync through your private iCloud database.
  • Operator does not require an account with Cybernetks.
  • Operator contains no advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs.
  • Cybernetks receives personal information only when you choose to contact us, such as by email.

Information handled by Operator

Operator stores the information you enter and generate while using the app, including:

  • project and milestone titles;
  • task text, creation dates, completion status, and completion dates;
  • daily-focus entries and their association with projects or milestones; and
  • interface preferences, such as appearance and collapsed sections.

This information is used only to provide Operator's planning, task-management, history, and synchronisation features.

Storage and iCloud synchronisation

Your workspace is stored locally on your device. When you are signed in to iCloud and iCloud is available, Operator uses Apple's CloudKit service to synchronise workspace data through the private database associated with your Apple Account. This lets your workspace remain available across your compatible devices.

Private CloudKit data is accessible only to the current user by default and is not visible to Cybernetks in Apple's developer portal. Cybernetks does not operate a separate server that receives your Operator workspace.

Apple provides iCloud and processes information needed to operate that service under Apple's Privacy Policy. Your use of iCloud is also subject to your Apple Account and iCloud settings.

Advertising, tracking, and analytics

Operator does not:

  • display advertising;
  • track you across apps or websites;
  • create advertising or marketing profiles;
  • include analytics or telemetry code; or
  • include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

Operator does not send your workspace content to Cybernetks.

When you contact support

If you email operator@cybernetks.be, Cybernetks receives the information you voluntarily provide. This may include your name, email address, message, device and app details, and any attachments you include.

We use this information to respond to your request, investigate problems, improve support, and maintain the security and reliability of Operator. Email delivery and storage may be handled by service providers acting on our behalf.

Please do not send passwords, authentication codes, or workspace content that is not necessary to resolve your request.

Sharing and sale of personal information

Cybernetks does not sell or rent personal information. Information from support communications may be disclosed to service providers that help deliver email or operate support, when necessary to respond to your request, or when disclosure is required by law.

Retention and deletion

Your workspace remains on your devices and in your private iCloud database until you delete it. Operator provides controls to clear history or clear all workspace data. When iCloud synchronisation is active, those changes are synchronised through iCloud. You can also manage applicable iCloud data through Apple's device and account controls.

Support communications are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, troubleshoot related issues, maintain appropriate business records, or meet legal obligations.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information held by Cybernetks, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or to object to certain processing.

Because Cybernetks cannot view the contents of your private CloudKit database, Operator and your Apple Account controls are the primary ways to view and manage your workspace data. For information you have sent directly to Cybernetks, submit a request using the contact address below. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children's privacy

Operator is not designed to collect personal information from children through a service operated by Cybernetks. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Operator's features or data practices change. The revised policy will be published with a new effective date.
